JOIN NICK & SCHALK FOR BREAKFAST!

CorporateSport has secured the presence of two very astute rugby brains for our last breakfast in Cape Town for this year, as we look back on how the Springboks have developed over the season and how things are shaping up for a huge in-coming New Zealand tour next year and of course the RWC in Australia in 2027. 

 

Nick Mallett coached the Boks to a record 17-game unbeaten run in 1997 and 1998 and guided the Springboks to a RWC semi-final spot in 1999. He also coached Italy from 2007 to 2011. Schalk Burger is arguably the best openside flanker to have played for the Springboks. The 2007 RWC winner played 86 tests for the Springboks and won the World Rugby Player of the Year in 2004 and was SA Rugby Player of the Year in 2004 and 2011. He and Nick have expertly transferred their excellence on the field to becoming expert rugby pundits on television, with a unique ability to dissect tactics and strategy simply and make it understandable for the viewers. 

 

Previous breakfasts we have hosted with the Nick and Schalk have shown they are not shy questioning each other and debating the tactics, selections and strategy employed by the current Springbok coaching team under Rassie Erasmus.
